The baby sister

Is it always fair to say the baby sister is the spoiled one? My baby sister is turning 29 today and in my case, it's safe to assume this girl is a brat. It was always my mission to protect her, from when she was very little, through her teenage years, through stomach aches and heartaches, to her wedding day and still to this very day, I can only say it's an instinct of mine. I'm most proud of her, she speaks her mind, she doesn't take crap from no one, and she'll always and fiercely have your back. I couldn't ask for a better sister, well, the 3 others are not so bad either....but it's always the baby....

Clouds

My very first photographs that I can remember taking were of clouds. I would take some with the rays of the sun shining down and it would seem that God was just manifesting His glory. When I visited the beach in Florida the first time, I remember being so mesmerized by clouds and how they just seemed to close to the shore that you could touch them. These photograph is from Panama City Beach.

Just Because...

I don't always plan my photoshoots (even when I try they don't always come out as planned). This was Easter Sunday at my house. My sister-in-law is a stunning girl, today, she decided to wear heels that dwarfed even the tallest girl (me) (lol).

Petals

I don't think growing up I was a big flower girl, I didn't make a big fuss at my wedding about flowers, I just wasn't that girly about them. When I bought my house, the previous owner had a beautiful garden. She apparently loved the color purple because most of the flowers that bloom are purple. I have tried to save most of them, however, I just wasn't born with a green thumb....Mostly my problem is that I forget to water them...I believe that's what kills them.
But who am I to shy away from a challenge! These beautiful beauties only require me to water the once every 3 weeks. That's right up my alley! I get to admire they're beautiful petals and know that they're not depending on my for their every day nutrition...now if only the kids were that way...

A Day In My Life

This theme actually coicided with my birthday week and I was inspired to create how I would love to spend a day in my life...so we had an Alice in Wonderland inspired Tea Party...We had a great time, we created our hats, and just enjoyed each other's company.
