This is a photograph of my grandfather, Agustin, in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1941.
I have always had a fascination with old photographs. It reminds me of a time when photography was so serious and momentous because it was expensive to have photographs done. I love this photo in particular, not just because it's my Grandfather, but because, it's not one of those stiff, portrait photographs. It's a very photojournalistic photo of him walking down the street. There's movement in his pants and I like that his expression is not posed.
This photo makes me miss my Grandpa...
